Details:
Showers
Shower blocks are in the morning, night, and free time, and are assigned based on cabin. Showers are in private stalls with locking doors. Our restrooms are split by age group, not gender.
Meals
Campers must attend breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day, plus snacks! Meals are served family style. Most allergies and dietary restrictions can be accommodated.
Campers can also participate in our Kitchen Crew. This group assists our Kitchen Manager in cooking, serving, and cleaning.
Activities
A variety of activities are available to choose from each block, accommodating a wide range of interests, skills, and abilities. We are also always welcoming new ideas. Please reach out to campers@camplilac.org with your suggestions!
-
Outdoor Activities: Explore our 278 acre campsite by hiking, boating, and swimming, or try your hand at our challenge course, archery, and more.
-
Creative Activities: Sew stuffed creatures, make clay models, and tie dye t-shirts in the art cabin, or write stories and poems during creative writing. There’s endless ways to be creative at Camp Lilac!
-
Board, Card, and Role Playing Games & Activities: Play Dungeons & Dragons, theater games, and much more!
-
Trans-Centered Activities: Celebration of trans identities is inherent in everything we do at camp, but we also host makeup and hair tutorials, voice training, and more!
-
All-Camp Activities: Each night, our whole camp comes together for one big event, like a bonfire, dance party, talent show, or capture the flag.
Free Time
Campers can choose between supervised spaces to do, well, anything! Continue an art project, take a nap, plan your next adventure, and much more.
Village & Cabin Time
Spend quality time with cabinmates and campers in your "village" of nearby cabins. These laid back blocks help form new friendships and recharge from the day.
